President Ilham Aliyev as the “Person of Year 2009”
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has been announced "Person of the Year 2009". The Russian information agency "RBC" has established the honor ceremony on 25th February, 2010 in Kremlin.
The highest award is the Grand Prix."Person of the Year" prize is awarded in business, social and political spheres. The owners are awarded "Glory of the Fatherland". The annual Russian Grand Prix is being awarded to whom who vibrantly demonstrate himself in political, societal, governmental spheres of his country all through the year.
‘Person of Year’; a man who represents an important country growth trend for country's prospect, as described by the award winners. The awards are nominated by spokesperson advisory council that includes well-known politicians, public numbers, companies’ heads, scientists, cultural and media legislative bodies.
The Winners’ assortment was apprehended on the milieu of economic catastrophe, which principally determined work of the winners. Mostly, the winners got the honor due to their success to overcome the financial calamity.
The Members from the advisory council have also got "Person of the Year" award, as they have ended a noteworthy contribution to growth of their country.
